Primary Drive Clutch
The Rage 3P is an STM primary designed with the stock offset allowing it to be used with the stock secondary. To take full advantage of an optimal set up we suggest using the STM driven along with the Rage 3P.
This clutch offers extremely smooth low engagement with improved torque. Big tires or low speed riding is no longer a problem with the STM Rage3P.
New improved two-way bearing design. The main shaft bearing is now smaller with a 47mm outside diameter allowing a lower initial take off ratio than our past design. Allows tighter belt deflection and smoother transmission shifting.
An affordable replacement for the stock primary clutch. Complete billet design that out performs the existing primary. Using our adjustable SUPERTIP CAM ARMS with the Rage 3P is the perfect recipe for your stock or modified machine. These STM clutches will fit under the stock cover with no interference. The Rage 3 is capable of using most cam arms that are available on the market. We incorporate a fixed pin design that pivots the cam arm between two bushings and attaches the cam arm to the pin providing more durability to the cam arm pivot points. All parts are replaceable and stocked.
The cover is designed to use Polaris ATV springs providing a wide variety of spring rates to choose from.
The Rage 3 comes calibrated with a spring and set of our own adjustable SUPERTIP CAM ARMS.
Includes a new bolt for installation.
Each clutch is assembled and set up to run the OEM belt
This primary will work with the stock secondary.
Item numbers 1001649 primary clutch vice holding tool, 1001072 STM & Arctic Cat Spider Nut Socket Tool for 1995-2009 and either 1001020 STM Rage 3 & 6 Spider Tool, or 1001032 STM Rage 4 & 8 Spider Tool (depending rage number) is required when removing or installing the spider. Works on all STM primary clutches. Sold separately.

Choose Engine HP – Let us know about your bike. Is it naturally aspirated/stock? Big Bore Kit? Does it have a turbo? If you choose turbo - how much boost? This gives us an idea of how to set the weights up. KEEP IN MIND WE CAN ONLY GET YOU CLOSE WITH WEIGHT SET UP. Everyone's riding style is different so it’s up to the customer to do the fine tuning!
Secondary Driven Clutch
The NEW TRIPLE roller option with a 1.25 diameter roller creates a very consistent smooth upshift and backshift with improved roller wear. This latest design creates a huge improvement in engine braking compared to our dual roller Tuner. All billet construction capable of using compression springs with different spring rate options. We have many helix angles see menu below. We can also provide custom helix angles if you desire for an additional fees.
We also offer the option of a encapsulated helix design that keeps the driven from unloading, opening and going into high gear during breaking and jumping which some racers require.
Can be used along with the stock primary or the STM primary. Best results are acquired when running both the STM primary and STM tuner together.

Number of shims – The amount of shims we install will determine your belt deflection or how tight the belt will be between your primary and driven clutch. Keep in mind we are setting the deflection for a stock belt, for an RZR pre-2010 choose 1 shim, RZR 2011-2015 choose 3 shims, XP choose 3 shims. Keep in mind the more shims you add the looser the belt - less shims tighter belt. NOTE: You want to have your belt as tight as possible without the bike creeping forward while in gear at idle.
Choose a helix angle - The most popular helix is the 45°. It’s a good all-around helix we found worked the best for the average to aggressive trail rider.
Choose a spring– The most popular spring is the PS13 gold this spring works well for most average to aggressive trail riders. If you have a turbo choose the KSS12 blue spring.
Comes with a belt removal tool and uses stock bolt for installation.
