Gen 3 Portals Are Geared for All
We know better than to assume that all riders want the same thing. So we kept that in mind when designing our Gen 3 GDP Portals. When you get a 4” Portal Gear Lift for your Kawasaki Teryx S, you get to be part of the design process. Do you want a 15% or 30% gear reduction? And how about those housings—will it be cast or billet aluminum? Whatever you choose, you’re getting a badass set of portals that’s custom fit for your ride style.
GDP—The Most Trusted Name in Portals
You may have noticed that more riders come to SuperATV than anyone else for portal gear lifts. There’s a reason for that: people want the best for their machine. We’ve invested more time and money than anyone else all in the name of manufacturing the best portal gear lift on the market. Thanks to our industry-leading technology and countless hours of field and lab testing, we’ve succeeded. GDP Portals are proof.
Perfect for Mud
Portals and mud are a match made in heaven. Everyone knows you can’t truly enjoy mud pits if you’re not rolling on GDP. The extra 4” of lift keep you from getting swamped in deep bogs and also give you room for bigger tires. And don’t even get us started on the torque boost! Our gear reduction—either 15% or 30%—will have you cutting through muck like it’s nothing.
A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
Our portals place the gear reduction directly in the hub, as opposed to in the drivetrain. This greatly reduces the amount of stress placed on your side-by-side’s most important parts. Your portals won’t have your axles, prop shaft, and transmission working overtime, meaning your driveshaft will last longer. That saves you time and money in the long run.

Top-Notch Gear Material
You can’t have a solid portal gear lift without the best dang gears on the market. That’s why we use top-of-the-line 9310 alloy steel gears. They’re precision ground for perfect mating and quiet operation, and they’ll keep your portals running flawlessly. Don’t hold back behind the wheel—our premium gears will deliver a smooth ride no matter what.
Stronger Housing by Design
The portal housings are arguably one of the most important components of a portal gear lift. After all, they’re what keeps everything safe and protected. So we spared no expense in designing the strongest and most reliable housings imaginable. After years of testing and research, we’re able to present you with two unbeatable options: rock-solid cast or USA-made billet aluminum with a CNC-machined finish. Either way, if it says GDP, you know you’re getting the best portal box on the market.
- Our housings are reinforced in all the right places
- They’re built with better oil flow and gearing forces in mind
- There are no gimmicks and no vents because vents do more harm than good—we know because we tested them
Unbeatable Portal Backing Plates
Like every other part of GDP Portals, our backing plates shatter the standard. They’re made with an advanced steel alloy that’s specialized for use in hardcore, high-force applications. At 5/16” thick, our backing plates are even stronger than chromoly steel. You can trust they won’t fail, no matter how much abuse you put them through.
Advanced Gaskets and Seals
Whether you go with cast or billet, both housings use:
- Advanced gaskets with excellent oil resistance and a lower deterioration rate than Kevlar gaskets
- A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal
- 100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks
Nothing But the Best Bearings
Every piece of our Teryx S 4” portals is built for battle, right down to the bearings. Our premium bearings are designed to keep your portal gear lift running smoothly in all conditions. The incredibly strong roller bearing holds the idler gear in place, absorbing all of the internal pressure in the process. We also use a double-angular contact bearing for the output—we knew it had to be strong because it takes the brunt of the force while you’re riding. Overall, our portal bearings will keep you rolling for miles without fail.
Universal Hubs and Slotted Rotors
All of our portals utilize precision-ground, stainless steel slotted rotors. We designed them to stay cool and deliver braking power right when you need it. To make your life even easier, we include universal hubs that have 4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110 bolt patterns and lugs—that means you can run pretty much any UTV wheel under the sun. We also invented the tapered output shaft that our hubs attach to. It gives you a safe, secure lock that won’t wobble over time.
