Gen 3 Portals Are Geared for All
If you want to maximize ground clearance and performance in the best way possible, you need SuperATV’s GDP 8” Portal Gear Lift. It’ll take your Kawasaki Teryx S to unbelievable heights—literally. And you get options too! In the name of customizing your Teryx to match your unique ride style, you get to choose your housing material—cast or USA-made billet aluminum. You also get a 45% gear reduction for all the torque you could ever need. Combine that with a massive lift and room for monster tires and you’ll be ready to take on any challenge.
GDP—The Most Trusted Name in Portals
In the off-roading world, GDP is synonymous with excellence. No one else has invested as much time, money, and energy in portal gear lift development. The result is thousands of riders rolling on GDP at ride parks all over the world. With that much trail time under our belt, you know these portals are the real deal.
Perfect for Mud
If mud is what you’re into, you already know the best approach is to go big or go home. And in that case, there’s nothing better than our 8” portals. They give you enough height to avoid getting stuck and enough torque you need to keep your tires in motion. There’s a reason we say portals and mud are a match made in heaven—you’ll see it for yourself as soon as you choose GDP.
A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
With portals, the gear reduction is placed directly in the hub, as opposed to in the drivetrain. This greatly reduces the amount of stress placed on your axles, transmission, diff, and prop shaft. Less wear on those parts saves you time, money, and hassle… and your drivetrain will appreciate the extra love too.

Top-Notch Gear Material
The gears inside these Teryx S 8” portals are made with top-quality 9310 alloy steel. It’s the strongest gear material you can get because we use nothing but the best. Our gears are also precision ground—they mate perfectly and stay cool mile after mile. No matter how wild you get, our premium gears ensure a smooth ride every time.
Stronger Housing by Design
We’ve been in the portal game for quite some time now, so we know what it takes to make or break portal housings. We also know that ours are the strongest ones out there. Our expert design produces portal housings that are second to none, whether you go with cast or USA-made 6061 billet aluminum. Our billet option has a sleek CNC-machined finish, so it looks better too.
- Our housings are reinforced in all the right places
- They’re built with better oil flow and gearing forces in mind
- There are no gimmicks and no vents because vents do more harm than good—we know because we tested them
Unbeatable Portal Backing Plates
To develop the strongest backing plates in the industry, we went with an advanced alloy steel that’s specialized for use in ultra-high force applications. It’s even stronger than chromoly, so you know it’s tough enough to handle whatever you throw its way. At 5/16” thick, you won’t ever have to wonder if your backing plates are strong enough.
Advanced Gaskets and Seals
Whether you go with cast or billet, both housings use:
- Advanced gaskets with excellent oil resistance and a lower deterioration rate than Kevlar gaskets
- A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal
- 100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks
Nothing But the Best Bearings
Every piece of GDP Portals is designed for greatness, right down to the bearings. To keep a bad bearing from ruining your ride, we use a double-angular contact bearing for the output. It’s tough enough to withstand huge forces from any angle. We also use an incredibly strong roller bearing to hold the idler gear in place and absorb all that internal pressure. The result is a set of portals that’s truly built for battle.
Universal Hubs and Slotted Rotors
Our slotted rotors are stainless steel and precision ground to run cool no matter what. They’re designed to deliver the precise braking power you need, right when you need it. They come with 4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110 bolt patterns and lugs so you can fit almost any UTV wheel in existence. We also invented the tapered output shaft that our hubs attach to, which provides a more secure lock that won’t wobble or wear over time.
